Julia started her television career through TRC Media’s Format Lab trainee programme. Through the programme she worked with Hungry Bear Media as part of their development team.
As a format developer Julia’s work is strong in breadth and variety. With a background ranging from theatre to game making to literature, her work calls on a unique selection of reference points. Julia is experienced in working from brainstorm to pitch (including pitching in person to the BBC), working with Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Powerpoint, as well as having confidence and charisma to present ideas clearly and effectively.
Julia also has a sense of humour and always feels a bit weird writing about herself in the third person.
